Terriers Open Season at Dartmouth

HANOVER, N.H. - The Boston University women's swimming & diving team opened up its 2023-24 season on Saturday with an exhibition dual at Dartmouth.
Senior Madison Kim claimed wins in both the 100 IM (1:00.18) and the 100 free (53.00) while classmate Lara Mitchell took first in the 100 back (57.94) and freshman Han Hoang won the 50 free (23.65) in her collegiate debut.
The Terriers' 200 medley relay also earned a win with Mitchell, senior Clarissa Hoyt, Kim and Hoang turning in a time of 1:46.44.
BU had several runner-up finishes throughout the meet, including junior Sophia Souza in the 3-meter dive with 257.53 points, sophomore Stella Langenbach in the 200 free (1:54.57), junior Fia McCarty in the 100 breast (1:07.65).
BU will officially kick off its dual schedule on Saturday (Oct. 14) when it hosts Bucknell at 1:30 p.m.
