WEST WINDSOR, N.J. - The second-ranked Boston University women's lightweight rowing team began competition at the 2023 IRA National Championship on Saturday morning with all three boats racing for lanes for Sunday's final round on Lake Mercer.
The Lightweight 8, coxed by sophomore

Delaney Bernier, finished fourth in its race, turning in a time of 7:21.829 behind No. 4 Georgetown (7:20.677), No. 3 Stanford (7:16.531) and No. 1 Princeton (7:12.517).Â
In the Lightweight 4, junior coxswain
Rayna Kuthiala and sophomore stroke
Nina Palmer guided the Terriers to a fifth-place finish with a time of 8:19.426.Â

Alanna Hoffman got the morning started by placing third in the Lightweight Double in a time of 8:47.607 behind Harvard-Radcliffe (8:26.583) and Princeton (8:18.231).
