Liljegren to Compete at NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championship

AUSTIN, Texas – Sophomore Daisy Liljegren of the Boston University track & field team is set to compete in the 10,000m at the NCAA National Championship on Thursday (June 8) at the Mike A. Meyers Track & Soccer Stadium at Texas. The Terrier will race at 11:08 p.m. ET (10:08 p.m. CT).
Liljegren is one of 24 women who will compete in the event. Of the 24 women, 12 are from each region, east and west. At the NCAA East Preliminary meet, Liljegren placed 12th to take the final qualifying spot of the East contingent with a time of 34:00.60.
At the NCAA National Championships in 2022, the Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J., native placed 19th with a time of 34:05.69. She was an All-American Honorable Mention thanks to her performance.
