BOSTON – The Boston University track & field program will host seven indoor meets at the Track & Tennis Center for the 2023-24 season, director of track & field and cross Country
Gabe Sanders announced Thursday.

The "Launchpad," home to some of the fastest times in history, will welcome athletes from across the NCAA and the track & field world. In addition, meets will be fully open to spectators. The TTC is undergoing renovations to update the building and the world-renown track.

BU will kick off the 2023-24 season with the annual Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener on Dec. 2.Â

In 2024, the TTC will see four consecutive weekends of action beginning with the Battle in Beantown on Jan. 20. The following weekend, the John Thomas Terrier Classic will run Jan. 26-27 with men competing Friday and women competing Saturday.

February will feature three meets, the first of which being the Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invite on Feb. 3. The David Hemery Valentine Invitational will follow on Feb. 9-10 with the women competing Friday and the men competing Saturday. The final meet of the regular season will take place on Feb. 16 with the Terrier DMR Challenge.
BU will also host the 2024 Indoor Patriot League Championships.

2022-23 at the TTC in Review
- Two American records were set in the men's 3,000m and 5,000m.
- Women's North American record was broken in the 1,000m.
- Sharon Colyear-Danville's long-standing 300m record was broken by then-senior Noelani Phillips.
- The NCAA Division I Distance Medley Relay women's record was broken by Washington.
- 52 men went sub-four minutes in the mile which set a world record for the most run at a single meet.
- Six of the top-10 men's indoor 5,000m marks in NCAA history were ran at the TTC.
