BOSTON – Seeking a third straight win, the Boston University men's basketball team will host Patriot League foe Bucknell on Wednesday night with tip-off slated for 7 p.m. at Case Gym.

Both squads are currently 2-2 in the conference standings after the Terriers rallied to win at Loyola Maryland (60-58) and the Bison fell to Colgate, 84-73, this past Saturday. The contest marks the annual Club Sports Night celebration with all BU club teams represented in the stands.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU is 4-3 at home compared to its 3-7 road record with victories over American (72-68), defending NEC champion Merrimack (74-63), Bryant (95-79) and VTSU-Johnson (90-49).
Senior Miles Brewster is the lone Terrier in double figures at 10.4 ppg with a team-high 21 made 3-pointers. He also leads BU at 3.0 apg alongside 24 steals.
Brewster tallied a career-high 21 points against the Eagles last Wednesday after BU went without a 20+ point scorer for the first 15 contests.
Senior Anthony Morales (7.6 ppg) followed up on Brewster's performance Saturday with 17 of his career-high 24 points in the final 8:20 to help BU overcome an 18-point deficit against the Greyhounds.
Sophomore Otto Landrum (8.2 ppg) has a team-high 5.9 rpg and owns one of two double-doubles this year alongside junior Ethan Okwuosa (7.9 ppg, 4.8 rpg).
The Terriers are averaging 64.7 ppg and 40.3 FG% while holding opponents to 65.2 ppg and 41.7 FG% with a positive rebounding margin of 2.9 rpg.

SCOUTING BUCKNELL

The Bison are led by first-year head coach John Griffin and his younger brother, assistant coach Matt Griffin ('12), who was a former captain for the Terriers.
Bucknell is 3-6 on the road compared to the 2-6 home mark with wins at Penn State (76-67), Lehigh (86-80) and Niagara (73-64).
Four Bison are averaging in double figures with former Saint Joseph's transfer and 6-foot-5 guard Jack Forrest owning a team-high 16.0 ppg.
7-foot-0 center Noah Williamson is second at 10.9 ppg while leading Bucknell at 5.8 rpg.
The Bison are averaging 64.5 ppg and 42.9 FG% while holding opponents to 72.2 ppg and 46.2 FG%.

SERIES HISTORY

The Bison lead the all-time series, 14-11, with the Terriers winning six of the last seven contests.
BU has won the last five games at Case Gym, including the 2020 PL semifinals, and last came up short in 2018.
In 2023, the Terriers overcame a 35-31 halftime deficit by outscoring the Bison, 46-26, in the second for a 77-61 home victory.
BU went 6-of-10 3FG and 16-of-18 FT during the final 20 minutes and ended the contest shooting 53.3 FG%.

The Terriers will visit defending Patriot League champion Colgate on Saturday (Jan. 20) at 2 p.m.
