The No. 2 Boston University men's ice hockey team will begin a home-and-home series with UConn on Friday night in Storrs before returning to Agganis Arena on Saturday night. Puck drop on both nights is scheduled for 7 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU enters Friday night having taken four points from then-No. 10/11 Providence, including a 5-2 home win on Saturday.
- Senior Nick Zabaneh lit the lamp both nights while freshman Shane Lachance tallied two goals on Saturday.
- Sophomore Jeremy Wilmer and junior Jack Hughes each recorded three assists over the weekend.
- Wilmer has recorded an assist in six of his last seven games and is now tied with sophomore Lane Hutson for the team lead with 25 assists
- Freshman Macklin Celebrini leads all rookies and is second in the entire country with 23 goals in addition to being tied for fifth overall in the country with 43 points.
- Hutson leads all NCAA defensemen with 37 points and is second among the nation's blue liners with 12 goals after lighting the lamp in Saturday's win.
- Graduate student Cade Webber is the only player in the nation who has blocked over 100 shots, blocking his 101st shot on Saturday against the Friars.
- BU went 6-for-6 on the penalty kill and 1-for-1 on the power play in Saturday's triumph.
SERIES HISTORY
- The Terriers and Huskies have had 25 prior meetings and BU is 14-9-2 (.600) in them, including a 2-1 record last season.
- BU won the lone game at UConn last year, 3-2, at XL Center in Hartford.
- This will be the first time that the Terriers visit the new Toscano Family Ice Forum on UConn's campus in Storrs.
- The only other time BU played on UConn's campus was during the 2020-21 season when the Terriers earned a 3-2 overtime victory.
- Luke Tuch scored the winner that day just 44 seconds into the extra session.
SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
- UConn was on a bye last weekend, having last played on Feb. 9-10 when the Huskies were swept by UMass in a home-and-home series.
- The Huskies have lost four of five, though all five games were against top-11 foes and three of the four defeats were by two goals or fewer.
- Junior Chase Bradley leads UConn in goals (11) and points (22) while senior Hudson Schandor paces the Huskies with 12 assists.
- Sophomore Matthew Wood, who played with Macklin Celebrini on Canada's World Junior team, is second on the squad in both goals (8) and points (18).
- Graduate student Ethan Haider has started in 18 of his 19 appearances this season.
- The transfer from Clarkson is 7-9-2 with a .912 save percentage and a 2.72 goals-against average.
- Sophomore Arsenii Sergeev has started all 11 of his appearances this season, going 5-6-0 with a .921 save percentage and a 2.45 goals-against average.
- He has been sharp since his return to the goaltender rotation in January, going 3-2-0 with a .943 save percentage and a 2.02 GAA.
