Kennedy, Rampersad Claim Patriot League Awards After Strong Collegiate Debuts

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After strong collegiate debuts in a season-opening win at Holy Cross, freshmen Alayna Kennedy and Kiki Rampersad were named the Patriot League Diver and Rookie of the Week, respectively, on Tuesday.
Rampersad broke a pool record in her 100-yard butterfly collegiate debut and was a part of two pool relay records asBoston University opened its season with a 191-109 win over Holy Cross on Saturday. She swam a 55.68 in the 100 butterfly to set the pool record and post the 10th-fastest time in program history.
Kennedy won the 3-meter dive with a zone-cut score of 297.45 and also placed fourth in the 1-meter.
