BOSTON – The No. 13 Boston University women's ice hockey team (23-11-2, 18-7-2 HE) is set to take on cross-town rival Northeastern (22-13-1, 15-11-1) in the Hockey East championship on Saturday at Toscano Family Ice Forum. Puck drop in Storrs, Conn., is set for noon.
BU comes into the game as the two seed while Northeastern is seeded fifth. Saturday's title game will air on ESPNEWS and ESPN+. Fans can purchase a ticket for the championship game at

HOCKEY EAST CHAMPIONSHIP NOTES
- BU has made six appearances in the championship game, the last of which came in 2016.
- The last time the Terriers won the Hockey East title was in 2015, when they defeated top-seeded Boston College, 4-1.
- BU is 5-1 all time in the title game with a 2-0 record as the No. 2 seed.
- The title in 2015 was BU's fifth overall and fourth consecutive title.
