Barnes, Travaglini Named USILA Scholar All-Americans

BOSTON - 2025 graduates Will Barnes and Zach Travaglini of the Boston University men's lacrosse team were named USILA Scholar All-Americans, as announced on Tuesday.
Barnes graduated from the College of Communication with a degree in advertising while Travaglini graduated from the Questrom School of Business with a degree in finance. Both Terriers were instrumental in BU returning to the Patriot League title game this past May. Barnes was a USILA and Inside Lacrosse All-American in addition to earning Second Team All-Patriot League honors. Travaglini, a team captain in 2025, started all 15 of his appearances in the BU midfield and scored three goals in the conference tournament.
This is the fourth straight year that a Terrier has been selected as a USILA Scholar All-American, with BU now boasting 18 players who have secured that honor. In addition, the Terriers received the Team Academic Award for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. To earn USILA Scholar All-American accolades, a student-athlete must be a senior academically with a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0. In addition, he must also be an All-American, a member of a North/South team, or an outstanding league or conference player.
