Souza Highlights CSCAA, Patriot League Academic Honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Senior diver Sophia Souza of the Boston University women's swimming & diving team was named a Scholar All-American Team by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) and joined 22 of her teammates on the 2024-25 Patriot League Winter-Spring Academic Honor Roll.

BU earned CSCAA Scholar All-America distinction for having a team grade-point average of 3.00 or higher during the spring semester. The Terriers posted a 3.59 this semester, which ranked third among Patriot League teams.

Souza was named to the CSCAA Scholar All-America Second Team, honoring those who earned a 3.5 GPA or higher in the spring and meet a "B" time standard for the national championship or qualified for a diving zone qualification meet.

Patriot League student-athletes are selected to the academic honor roll for achieving a 3.2 grade-point average (GPA) or better during the semester in which their League champion is crowned.

Twenty-three of the Terriers' 29 student-athletes qualified for honor this year, including five who posted a perfect 4.0 in the spring.
