BOSTON – Continuing Patriot League play, the Boston University men's soccer team will host Navy at Nickerson Field on Saturday with action set to begin at 1 p.m.
The two-time defending PL regular season champion Terriers started conference play last Saturday with a 1-0 loss at Army West Point, while the Midshipmen posted a 1-1 draw vs. Holy Cross.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is 1-0 so far at Nickerson Field after posting a 3-1 win over Brown two weeks ago.
- In that win, junior Lapo Romieri broke a scoreless deadlock in the first minute of the second half and shortly thereafter assisted on freshman Austin Mobray's goal.
- Romieri leads the Terriers with five points (2g,1a) while both Mobray and sophomore Pharis Petrica own four points apiece (1g,2a).

- Andrew Schug leads Navy at seven points (3g,1a), on more than Duncan Sullivan (2g,2a).
- The Midshipmen are averaging 4.4 more shots per game (12.9-8.5) while owning a 44-35 advantage in corner kicks.
SERIES HISTORY
- BU leads the all-time series, 8-2-2, with a 6-0-1 home mark in the series that dates back to 2013.
- Last season in Annapolis, senior Quin DeLaMater scored in the 47th minute with help from classmate Ryan Lau to lead the Terriers to a 1-0 victory and 17-10 advantage in shot attempts.

LOOKING AHEAD
- BU will start off a three-game road trip at Boston College on Tuesday (Sept. 23) with a 7 p.m. start time.

- BC is riding an 11-game unbeaten streak in the series at 7-0-4 after the Terriers claimed a 1-0 road victory in 2012.
