BOSTON – Seeking a season-high three-game win streak, the Boston University men's basketball team will host Lehigh on Wednesday with a 6 p.m. tip.

BU won both Patriot League contests last week at Lafayette (83-67) and vs. Army (100-91) thanks to an impressive offensive effort that featured the Terriers shooting 59.6 FG% and 59.5 3FG%. The Mountain Hawks also won both of their games, first earning a 66-58 home win against Holy Cross and edging Colgate on the road, 78-77.

TERRIER TIDBITS

With last Saturday's 100-91 win over the Black Knights and December 3rd's 104-57 victory against VTSU Johnson, the Terriers have reached the century mark multiple times in one season for the first time since the 1979-80 campaign.
BU is now 4-3 at home compared to the 3-7 road mark, collecting wins over Army, Brown, UMass Lowell and VTSU-J.
Junior Michael McNair leads the Terriers in scoring at 16.6 ppg after earning his first PL Player of the Week nod Monday for totaling 57 points in the two victories.
Sophomore Ben Defty (13.2 ppg) leads BU In rebounding (6.4 rpg) and blocks (1.5 bpg) while freshman Chance Gladden (12.8 ppg) averages a team-high 4.0 apg.
During Saturday's win, Gladden came up just two points shy of McNair's game-high 28 points. In total, five Terriers have tallied 20+ points.
As a team, BU is averaging 76.0 ppg and 49.3 FG% while holding opponents to 75.8 ppg and 47.6 FG%.

SCOUTING LEHIGH

The Mountain Hawks started off PL play with an 85-78 overtime home loss to Army and then 72-65 defeat at Bucknell.
Lehigh is 2-8 away compared to the 4-3 home mark with 78-74 OT victory over Texas State at Resorts World Las Vegas and 80-71 OT loss at Binghamton.
Five Mountain Hawks are averaging double figures in points with 6-foot-2 junior Nasir Whitlock owning a team-high 18.0 ppg. Both he and 6-foot-4 junior Joshua Ingram (10.3 ppg) are averaging an identical 2.5 apg while totaling 21 steals apiece.
6-foot-9 sophomore Hank Alvey ranks 32nd nationally averaging 2.06 blocks per game and is 99th at 126 total rebounds so far.
Lehigh is currently averaging 70.6 ppg and 44.0 FG% while holding opponents to 73.9 ppg and 44.4 percent.

SERIES HISTORY

BU leads the all-time series, 17-10, after earning a sweep last year with 63-58 home win and 79-68 road victory.
Junior Kyrone Alexander led BU in scoring in both contests, first tallying 18 at home and then 21 on the road by hitting all 12 free throw attempts during the rematch.
Lehigh last won in overtime in 2024 with an 84-79 PL semifinal victory at BU and last won at Case Gym during the regular season in 2019 on an 84-79 decision.

LOOKING AHEAD

BU will fly down to Baltimore to face Loyola Maryland on Saturday (Jan. 17) at 1 p.m.
The last five matchups have been decided by a combined 10 points with BU prevailing in four of the meetings.
Last year, BU rebounded from a 69-67 road loss with a 68-66 home victory that featured Alexander totaling 20 points alongside team-high six rebounds.
