Barber Receives Patriot League Swimmer of the Week Accolades

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - After a record-setting performance at Colgate, freshman Molly Barber of the Boston University swimming & diving team has been named the Patriot League Swimmer of the Week.
The Ontario native set pool records in the 50- and 100-yard freestyles and anchored a pool record in the 400 medley relay along with sophomore Cambria Jewett and classmates Hadar Miller and Kiki Rampersad.
Barber swam a 23.21 in the 50 free and then turned in a time of 50.29 in the 100, helping the Terriers post dual wins over Colgate and Fairfield.
This is Barber's third weekly PL honor having received the rookie award twice this season.
Barber and the Terriers will return to action on Saturday (Jan. 17) when they host MIT at 1:30 p.m.
