Men's Tennis Falters Against BYU

WELLESLEY, Mass. — The Boston University men's tennis team lost 4-0 to the BYU Cougars on Wednesday night.

At singles, the Terriers (1-5) lost matches at first, second and fourth singles to the Cougars (6-0). At third singles, freshman David Asenov won his first set, 7-5, and his second would go unfinished as the match ended.

The Terriers dropped doubles matches one and three, but at second doubles, sophomores Jaydon Barki and junior Andrew Andea were locked in a tight match that was 5-4 in favor of BYU but went unfinished.

The Terriers next will head to Quinnipiac on Saturday, Feb. 14 for a 5 p.m. match at the North Haven Racquet Club.
