BOSTON – After honoring seniors Otto Landrum and Ben Roy, the Boston University men's basketball team will face Bucknell on Saturday with a 1 p.m. tip at Case Gym.

The Terriers enter the matchup on a season-high three-game win streak, while the Bison are looking to avoid a third straight loss.

TERRIER TIDBITS

BU started the current streak with a 72-64 victory at Holy Cross and followed up with a 78-69 home win vs. Loyola Maryland and most recently an 85-68 win at Army West Point.
Junior Michael McNair leads the Terriers at 16.4 ppg while shooting 45.6 percent from behind the arc. He currently owns 83 3-pointers, which are 12 away from tying John Papale's ('16) program record.
Sophomore Ben Defty is on pace to shatter the program record for field goal shooting percentage with a current 70.3 FG% mark. Leader with six double-doubles, he's averaging 14.9 ppg and a team-high 7.1 rpg.
Freshman Chance Gladden (13.8 ppg, 4.8 apg) claimed his second double-double against the Black Knights with 14 points and 11 assists.
The Terriers are averaging 76.1 ppg and 49.0 FG% while holding opponents to 75.8 ppg and 46.8 FG%.The offensive numbers increased in conference play to 77.5 ppg and 49.5 FG%.

SCOUTING BUCKNELL

Bucknell is 3-12 away from home with wins over Mount St. Mary's (73-62), Rider (51-38) and American (60-59). In conference play, the Bison came up just short to Lafayette (81-79), Loyola Maryland (67-62) and Holy Cross (65-58)
Four Bison are averaging 10+ points with 6-foot-11 forward Amon Dorries averaging team-high 15.1 ppg and 6-foot-3 guard Pat Curtin adding 11.7 ppg .
6-foot-9 forward Ruot Bijek (11.8 ppg) hasn't seen action since Jan. 10, and 6-foot-4 guard Achile Spodone is earning a team-high 5.8 rpg alongside 10.7 ppg and 1.7 spg.
As a team, Bucknell is averaging 67.2 ppg and 41.1 FG% but has increased them to 70.3 ppg and 42.2 FG% in Patriot League play. The Bison are holding opponents to 76.8 ppg & 47.0 though conference opponents are at 75.5 ppg & 45.4 FG%.

SERIES HISTORY

The Bison lead the all-time series, 17-13, with the home team winning each of the last three games.
In the 103-97 2OT win, Bucknell became the first opponent since 1994 to reach the century mark against the Terriers.
Gladden totaled 34 points with the help of a 17-for-18 performance at the charity stripe, while Hughes flushed five 3-pointers en route to 22 points.
Dorries (34 pts.) though shot a perfect 10-for-10 FT and tied Spadone (24 pts.) at four 3-pointers apiece, while Curtin hit one trey to finish with 22 points.
In BU's 85-82 OT victory last year, Landrum tied the game on a layup and helped BU pull away for the win.

LOOKING AHEAD

BU will have a quick turnaround and host Colgate on Monday (Feb. 16) with the CBS Sports Network broadcast set for a 6 p.m. tip.
The Terriers missed the go-ahead shot in the final seconds of an 80-79 OT road loss on Jan. 24 after claiming an 93-91 2OT victory at Case Gym in 2025.
