AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2006-07
Indoor: Earned three top-ten finishes in the season opener at the New Balance Invitational, earning fourth in the long jump (5.39 meters), eight in the 55-meters (7.46 seconds), and was part of the second-place 4x400-relay team (3:48.00)... During the Terrier Invitational, placed ninth in the 200 meters with a time of 25.69... The following week, earned a sixth-place finish in the 55-meter (7.55) during a home meet on Feb. 5... At the indoor conference championships, placed sixth in the 200 (25.53) and eighth in the 55 (7.45).
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06
Indoor: Opened the season with three top-ten finishes at the Husky Invitational, including a seventh-place finish in the 55 meters with a time of 7.54 seconds, a 10th-place finish in the 200 (26.85) and a sixth-place finish in the long jump (5.29)... At the Harvard Invitational, placed ninth in the 60-meter dash (8.16) and third in the long jump (5.37)... Helped BU win its home opener on Jan. 18, with first-place finishes in the 55-meter dash (7.44) and long jump (5.58)... Placed sixth in the 55 (7.34) and seventh in the 200 (25.18) at the Terrier Classic... Took home second place in the long jump (5.38) on Feb. 6... Helped BU capture the America East title, finishing second in the long jump (5.52) and placing sixth in both the 55 (7.44) and 200 meters (25.82).
Outdoor: During BU[apos]s second-place showing at the America East Championships, placed fourth in the 100 with a time of 12.27 and fifth in the 200 (24.91).
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Attended Hutchinson High School...Won four consecutive league championships in the 100, long jump, and 4x400 and three straight in the 200... Her 4x400 relay team won three state championships from 2002-04 and was runner-up her senior season...Was state runner-up in long jump in 2003 and 2004... Set school records in the 100 and long jump her junior year, which included a state 100 meter championship... Also participated in cross country and basketball...Was named Second Team All-League for basketball in 2005.
