AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2005-06
Indoor: Helped BU win its home opener on Jan. 18, with a first-place finish in the 3000 meters with a time of 9 minutes, 45.46 seconds... Finished seventh in the 5000 meters (16:49.66) at the Terrier Classic... Ran the mile in 4:54.67 for fifth place on Feb. 6... During BU's America East conference win, finished second in both the 3000 meters with a time of 9:40.32 and the 5000 (16:45.80)... At the ECAC Championships, placed seventh in the 3000 meters with a time of 9:35.92.
Outdoor: Took home first place in the 10000-meter run (37:05.22), during BU's second-place showing at the America East Championships... Earned a spot in the NCAA Outdoor regional meet after running the 5000 meters in 16:49.71 at the St. Mac Relays.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004-05
Indoor: Recorded a 15 second personal best in the 3000-meter run, finishing third with a time of 10:01.58 during BU's quad meet on Jan. 18... During BU's quad meet sweep on Feb. 8, placed fourth in the mile (5:03.66)... Placed second in the 3000 (9:47.37) during BU's second-place showing at the America East Championships and ran a personal best time of 16:55.47 for second place in the 5000.
Outdoor: During BU's second-place showing at the America East Championships, took the individual title in the 5000 meters, setting a championship record with a time of 17:08.46... Took home second place in the 5000-meter run at the New England Championships with a time of 17:01.90.
BEFORE BOSTON UNIVERSITY
Attended Fitchburg High School... Won the district indoor championship in the 1000 as a sophomore... Was the indoor district champion the mile and league champion in the 1000 her junior year... In 2004, took the district championship in cross country and the New England championship for the indoor two-mile run... Also won the Mass. two mile outdoor championship and league title (mile) her senior season... Named league All-Star for both indoor and outdoor track from 2002-04... Holds school records in indoor 100 meter, mile and two mile, outdoor 800, mile and two mile, as well as cross-country records on two courses... Also played three years of varsity soccer.
