Jake Beverlin joins head coach Neil Roberts' staff for the 2010 season as the director of soccer operations after serving as an assistant coach with the FC Blazers.
Immediately following graduation from San Francisco State University, Beverlin became an assistant coach at Bunker Hill C.C. He was a member of the 2010 Region XXI Coaching Staff of the Year after the team captured the Region XXI title for the first time in program history. Bunker Hill was a finalist at the NJCAA National Championship. In total, during his tenure, eight players have transferred on to continue playing at four-year institutions.
In 2010, Beverlin also played in the United Soccer League with the New Hampshire Phantoms. His collegiate career started at Cosumnes River Junior College. The team won the Bay Valley Conference two times and finished the 2006 season ranked in the top 10 in the country. He later transferred to San Francisco State University, where he played his final two seasons.
Currently the head coach of the New England Football Club, he graduated with a bachelor's in political science from SFSU and would later graduate from Southern New Hampshire in 2011 with a Master's of Science in sport management.
Presently residing in Boston, he holds a NSCAA national diploma and is a nationally certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, the International Sports Science Association and the Aerobics & Fitness Association of America.
