Matthew Gill enters his first season as the director of soccer operations with over 16 years of coaching and playing experience.

A native of Winfield, Kan., Gill currently works with the Delta FC youth club team outside the city of Boston. He took both positions after completing his collegiate eligibility at Mt. Ida College this past spring. He is expected to graduate this winter with a degree in sport management.

Gill has three years of coaching experience with multiple soccer camps and has spent two years working for the "Be Ahead of the Game" soccer and fitness training program

As a junior and senior at Mt. Ida, Gill was twice named second-team all-conference and also named to the GNAC academic all-conference team. He finished his career there with six goals and seven assists for 19 points in 33 games played.

Before transferring and being named a senior captain, he played for two seasons at Garden City College in his homestate of Kansas. He was a four-year varsity letterman at Winfield High School, helping his team win the conference title as a captain.
