Lynn Gugliuzza, a former standout goalkeeper at UNH (`07), enters her second season as an assistant on head coach Nancy Feldman's squad at BU.
Gugliuzza saw action in 38 games over the course of four seasons with the Wildcats and recorded nine shutouts while earning a 1.32 career goals against average. The Kenmore, N.Y., native was a four-time America East Academic Honor Roll recipient, while also taking home UNH's Student-Athlete Award and Player's Award in 2006.
In addition to her collegiate playing career, Gugliuzza has invested time in youth soccer in both New York and Massachusetts. In 2002, she trained several goalkeepers and volunteered to coach a U-7 youth team through the Kenton Youth Soccer Organization in Kenmore, N.Y. From January to May in 2006, she interned at the New England Soccer School, where she trained three U-14 goalkeepers, while also assisting with the U-11/12 boys' and U-14 girls' teams.
While a student, Gugliuzza volunteered every summer with the University of New Hampshire Summer Camp, where she coached young athletes from ages nine to 12 and also trained 10 goalkeepers that ranged from nine to 18-years-old.
Gugliuzza will work primarily with the goalkeepers in addition to maintaining a full-time course load in BU's School of Education.
