Three Terriers Named to All-New England Teams

BOSTON - Junior midfielder Andrew Dorman (Flintshire, Wales) was named to the NSCAA All-New England First Team.
In addition, senior midfielder Anthony D'Angelo(Tewksbury, MA) and sophomore back Erik Evjen (Askim, Norway) were All-New England Third Team selections.
Dorman earns his second consecutive All-New England First Team honor following an outstanding junior campaign in which he led the America East Conference and was tied for 16th in the nation in assists, averaging 0.59 per game.
A two-time All-Conference First Team selection, Dorman started all 17 games in the midfield, scored a team-high six goals and totaled a team-high 22 points. He ranked third in the league and led the team in scoring, averaging 1.29 points per game.
D'Angelo, who co-captained the 2002 squad with Dorman, earned All-New England honors for the first time in his career.
Starting all 72 games during his four-year career at B.U., D'Angelo scored three goals in 2002 while pacing the Terriers' midfield. A First Team All-Conference pick, D'Angelo finished his career with five goals and five assists for 15 points.
The anchor of the B.U. defense, Evjen led the Terriers to a 1.25 goals against average, the league's second-best average. Evjen, who was selected to the All-Conference Second Team following both his freshman and sophomore seasons, was one of seven Terriers to start all 17 contests in 2002.
The Terriers completed the 2002 season with an 8-6-3 overall record and a 3-3-1 mark in America East action. It marked the 19th consecutive winning season for Terrier head coach Neil Roberts.
