Women's Ice Hockey Welcomes Transfer Defenseman

BOSTON - Brian Durocher, head coach of the Boston University women's ice hockey team, has announced that former Maine defenseman Julie Poulin has transferred to BU and will join the program this fall.
Poulin was a Hockey East All-Star honorable mention selection as a sophomore last year, posting a team-high 18 assists to go along with seven goals. Her total of 26 points ranked second on the Black Bears and she took a team-high 109 shots on the season.
"Julie's succes on the ice and in the classroom will be an asset to our young program," said Durocher. "Her accomplishments at the college level will make her an immediate leader on our squad."
