
Women's Tennis Drops 4-3 Decision to Temple

BOSTON - The Boston University women's tennis team (5-4) dropped a 4-3 decision to Temple on Thursday, March 13 in Boca Raton, Fla. BU picked up wins at third, fourth and fifth singles.
Freshman Vanessa Steiner defeated Christine Clermont 7-5, 6-3 at third singles, while junior Cori Lefkowith won the first set with Anastasiia Rukavyshnykova 6-4 before the Owl retired. Sophomore Liz Corrao won in three sets against Josephine Bergman, 1-6, 7-6, 6-4.
Steiner and sophomore Francine Whu claimed the Terriers' only win in doubles, 8-5, against Theresa Stangl and Lucie Pazderova.
BU returns to action against Florida Atlantic on Friday, March 14 at 1 p.m.
