BOSTON -
Former Boston University standout Chris Drury was inducted into the Beanpot Hall of Fame in between the two semifinals of this year's tournament on Monday evening at TD Banknorth Garden. Drury becomes the 13th Terrier to earn induction into the 47-member Hall.
Drury and his fellow classmates became the first class to ever win four Beanpot titles, capped by a 2-1 overtime victory over Harvard in 1998 - a game in which Drury scored the Terriers' regulation goal and assisted on the game-winner.
As a sophomore in 1996, Drury recorded a hat trick in an 11-4 victory over Northeastern in the championship game to earn MVP honors. He ranks fourth all-time in Beanpot history with seven career goals in the tournament.
