The national champion Boston University men's ice hockey team will be honored on Thursday (April 16) at the TD Banknorth Garden during the Boston Bruins' playoff opener against the Montreal Canadiens. The team will be recognized during the first period of the game.
The Terriers captured the national championship on Saturday with a 4-3 overtime win over Miami in Washington. On Tuesday, the team held a parade and rally through campus and Mayor Thomas Menino declared the day "Boston University Terrier Day" in the city of Boston. The team will hold an autograph session on Saturday (April 18) at 5 p.m. at the George Sherman Union.
