Former Terriers John Curry and Chris Bourque celebrated professional hockey titles on Friday night, as Curry was the third goaltender for the Pittsburgh Penguins during their run to the Stanley Cup and Bourque was one of the Hershey Bears' top scorers in their AHL Calder Cup championship.

Curry, who was among the members of the Penguins' taxi squad once the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins were eliminated from the Calder Cup playoffs by Hershey, was part of the on-ice celebration following Pittsburgh's 2-1 Game 7 victory in Detroit. During the regular season, Curry made his NHL debut by appearing in three games, including two starts, for Pittsburgh. He earned the win in goal on two occasions, both against the New York Islanders (Nov. 26, Dec. 11).

Capped by a 4-1 win in Winnipeg on Friday, Bourque and the Bears defeated the Manitoba Moose in six games to claim their record 10th Calder Cup title. Bourque ranked fifth overall in scoring during the AHL playoffs with five goals and 16 assists in 22 games. Bourque appeared in eight games this season with the Bears' parent club, the Washington Capitals.
