The Tradtion, an annual event held by The Sports Museum of New England that honors the best in Boston sports, will re-air tonight (July 14) at 9 p.m. on NESN. Boston University's Jack Parker was among the seven honorees at the event, which was held on June 24.
Parker and BC's Jerry York, the two winningest active coaches in college hockey, were inducted together and joined Bruins great Ken Hodge, Celtics guard Sam Jones, two-time Olympic figure skating medalist Nancy Kerrigan, Patriots legend Troy Brown and Red Sox ace Curt Schilling in this year's class.
The Tradition, which celebrated its eighth year, is the signature summer celebration of Boston sports, honoring a set of legends whose accomplishments, contributions and qualities of character have helped make Boston the greatest sports city in America.
