Fenway Pre-Game Rally and Watch Party
January 7, 2010 | Men's Ice Hockey
Jan. 7, 2010
After the BU men’s hockey team’s jaw-dropping comeback victory in last April’s NCAA championship, it seemed impossible that things could get better.
But that was in Washington, D.C. This winter, the national hockey champs will have their chance to break new ice and add to local sports lore from inside the confines of Fenway Park, storied home of the Boston Red Sox.
The Terriers will face off against archrival and 2008 NCAA champion Boston College on a rink set in the shadow of the Green Monster, as part of the Sun Life Frozen Fenway doubleheader. Slap shots and kick saves will replace line drives and booted grounders.
For this momentous occation, we are inviting all Terriers – whether you were lucky enough to get game tickets or not – to come to Tequila Rain at 145 Ipswich St. (across from Fenway Park!) for a pre-game party. If you didn’t get game tickets, you are welcome to stay and watch it on one of the more than 20 flat screen TVs. And in case you are wondering, we're sorry, but we do not have any game tickets to sell.
