The Boston University men's lacrosse team will host the program's first-ever exhibition game at Nickerson Field on Wednesday night when the Terriers face off against Team England. Game time is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., and admission is free.

This will be the third scrimmage that BU has played during its fall schedule and the first time that it will play in front of a home crowd. The Terriers competed against Sacred Heart and Hartford on Oct. 13 at the Northeast Classic, combining to score 15 goals in the two contests. Eight different players found the back of the net that day, including freshmen Clay Phillips (4g), Ryan Johnston (3g), Brendan Barrett (2g), Sam Tenney (2g), Justin Diamond (1g), Pat Myers (1g), Andrew Perkins (1g) and Adam Schaal (1g).

England, the fifth-ranked nation in the World Lacrosse Rankings, dropped a 19-6 decision at Harvard on Tuesday night as part of a six-game tour of New England in preparation for the 2014 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Championships in Denver. The tour also includes contests against Brown, Bryant, Dartmouth and Massachusetts.

Wednesday's contest will conclude the Terriers' fall schedule. BU will begin its first varsity season in February 2014.
