The No. 6 Boston University women's ice hockey team will host the Boston Blades of the Canadian Women's Hockey League on Saturday at Walter Brown Arena. Game time is set for 3 p.m.

Prior to puck drop, the Terriers will honor the 2013-14 team that won the program's third straight Hockey East championship and advanced to the NCAA tournament for the fifth straight year. Two banners will rise to the rafters to mark the occasion; it is the fifth straight season in which BU has raised two banners.

In addition, members of both the Terriers as well as the Blades will participate in a joint autograph session after the game.

Saturday's exhibition comes after BU split its first two regular-season games of the year in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Terriers defeated St. Cloud State, 5-2, before dropping a 5-2 decision to the top-ranked Gophers. Six different skaters scored over the weekend, including freshman Rebecca Leslie, who was named Hockey East Rookie of the Week on Monday. Leslie scored her first two collegiate goals against Minnesota after she assisted on Rebecca Russo's game-winner Friday night against St. Cloud State.

Among the five players who lit the lamp on Friday was junior Sarah Lefort, who became the eighth skater in program history to score 100 points as a Terrier. She added two assists for a three-point night. Senior Marie-Philip Poulin marked her return to the Terriers with a goal while classmate Shannon Doyle, who also missed all of last season, assisted on Lefort's goal. Freshman Victoria Bach collected her first collegiate goal and sophomore Maddie Elia also found the back of the net.

The Terriers featured two goaltenders over the weekend, with sophomore Victoria Hanson stopping 15 shots in Friday's win. Freshman Erin O'Neil made 23 saves in her collegiate debut on Saturday against Minnesota.

Returning to Walter Brown for the first time since playing the Terriers to a 4-4 tie in 2012, the Boston Blades feature two former Terriers in recent graduate Kaleigh Fratkin ('14) and 2014 Olympic gold medalist Tara Watchorn ('12). Other 2014 Olympians on the roster are Meghan Duggan, Kacey Bellamy, Gigi Marvin, Hilary Knight and Genevieve Lacasse.

BU will face the defending national champion next weekend when the Terriers trek to Potsdam, New York, for a weekend series against Clarkson (Oct. 17-18). Both games are scheduled for 3 p.m.
