BOSTON – Riding a four-game win streak, the Boston University men's basketball team will open its three-game road trip at Saint Peter's on Monday with tip-off slated for 7 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS

Sitting at 4-1, BU is off to its best start since opening the 2004-05 season with a 5-1 record ... The Terriers rebounded from an 87-77 loss at Northeastern with wins over the Huskies (65-63), Maine (102-78), LIU Brooklyn (86-69) and Western New England (91-54).
BU ranks 44th nationally in scoring offense at 84.2 ppg and 34th in shooting percentage (49.7 FG%) with the help of 15.8 assists per game, 73rd-best mark.
The Terriers are averaging 10.2 made 3-pointers per game so far.
Highlighted by his season-opening 29-point performance at Northeastern, senior Eric Fanning leads the Terriers in scoring at 16.0 ppg with juniors Cheddi Mosely (11.0 ppg) and Cedric Hankerson (10.5 ppg) also in double figures.
Showcasing the team's depth this season, senior Justin Alston (8.4 ppg) and sophomore Kamali Chambers (6.3 ppg) have both joined Fanning and Hankerson in leading BU in scoring at least once ... Seven total men have hit at least four 3-pointers so far.
Defensively, the Terriers are holding opponents to 40.5 percent shooting with a positive 4.6 rebound margin.
Highlighted by a double-double against LIU Brooklyn, junior Nick Havener leads the Terriers in rebounding at 6.8 rpg.
BU went 5-5 on the road in non-conference games with a 69-66 victory over Fordham in the first round of the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT).

SCOUTING SAINT PETER'S

The Peacocks are 2-2 with a season-opening 61-57 loss to Lafayette ... They went 2-1 at Fordham's tournament with 90-77 win over Lipscomb and 84-58 victory against Fairleigh Dickinson ... Their other loss came against the host Rams, 63-41.
SPU went 14-16 last year and 9-5 at home, highlighted by non-conference wins over Brown and St. Francis Brooklyn.
Averaging 68.0 ppg in four games, SPU is led by 6-foot-8 forward Quadir Walton (16.3 ppg, 8.0 rpg) and 6-foot-2 guard Nick Griffin (12.8 ppg).
Both 6-foot-1 guard Trevis Wyche (9.0 ppg) and 6-foot-3 guard Chazz Patterson (4.5 ppg) are averaging more than two assists and two steals a game.
SPU is shooting 41.1 percent from the field and is holding opponents to 45.5 percent.

SERIES HISTORY

The Terriers lead the all-time series, 7-3, after splitting the last two meetings at home in 2013 (66-65) and 2014 (59-70).
BU is 3-2 on the road, having won the last three trips in 2012 (74-66), 2007 (67-64) and 2000 (77-64).
