Terriers to End Non-Conference Slate at UMass Lowell Wednesday Night

BOSTON – Following Sunday's 77-73 win over New Hampshire, the Boston University men's basketball team will end the non-conference schedule on the road against UMass Lowell with the tip-off slated for 7 p.m. at the Tsongas Center.
TERRIER TIDBITS- The Terriers are seeking their eighth straight win against the America East after going 4-0 last year and collecting home wins this season against Maine (102-78) and UNH.
- BU is seeking its first road win after losing the first five games, including a 51-49 decision at UConn and 77-73 loss to NC State.
- The Terriers are shooting 40.7 percent on the road compared to 49.4 percent from home ... They are also averaging 7.8 3-pointers on the road on 27.9 percent shooting compared to 10.3 made 3FGs and 41.6 3FG% at home.
- Last year in an 80-60 win at UML, John Papale ('16) became the 34th Terrier to reach the 1,000-point milestone ... Leading scorer and senior Eric Fanning (13.8 ppg) needs 54 points to reach the mark as a Terrier, while No. 2 scorer and junior Cedric Hankerson (12.1 ppg) is 200 points away.
- Sophomore Kyle Foreman has gone seven straight games with at least five assists and is one of six Terriers averaging at least six points per game.
- Junior and leading rebounder Nick Havener (5.9 rpg) had eight points and eight rebounds on Sunday while adding a career-tying three blocks.
- On Sunday, BU stopped a seven-game streak of using a different starting lineup ... Freshman Tyler Scanlon (6.7 ppg, 3.5 rpg) has started each of the last two games.
- Junior Eric Johnson became the 12th Terrier to reach double figures this season after tallying 10 points against the Wildcats with the help of three 3-pointers.
- The River Hawks are 3-8 overall with a 2-2 home record, featuring wins over Wagner (87-76) and Central Connecticut State (86-69).
- UML shares one common opponent in LIU Brooklyn, who edged the River Hawks, 82-78, at the Tsongas Center.
