Knutsson Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After recording a team-high five points in a pair of road games, Boston University men's soccer freshman Toti Knutsson has been named the Patriot League Corvias Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.
A native of Gardabaer, Iceland, he first scored a late equalizer at Brown before the Bears escaped, 2-1, last Tuesday. Knutsson then accounted for both of the Terriers' goals at Lehigh, scoring one and assisting the other in a 2-0 victory.
The win against the Mountain Hawks helped BU start League play 2-0 for the first time since 2014 and snap Lehigh's five-game win streak.
Knutsson's award marks the second for the Terriers this season after senior Adam Sheikali was tabbed Defender of the Week back on Sept. 18.
They will next host Holy Cross on Wednesday (Oct. 4) with action slated to begin at 7 p.m.
