BOSTON – Coming off its longest road stretch of the year, the Boston University men's soccer team opens its home slate for the 2026 season when hosting New Hampshire on Friday, Sept. 4.
Fans can arrive early for an opportunity to sample different Pepsi products in the concourse of Nickerson Field. The match will be streamed on ESPN+ with opening kick set for 6 p.m.

TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU looks to earn its first win of the season after a close 1-1 draw at Providence on Monday.
- In the 50th minute, freshman Ryan Ghajar put the Terriers on the board first, thanks to an assist from sophomore Sebastian Otero. This marked Ghajar's first collegiate goal and Otero's third career assist.
- Senior goalkeeper Ben Alexander made six saves against the Friars, tying his single game best in his three years at BU.
- Ben Bagshaw led the Terriers in shots with four while senior Andrea Di Blasio had three. Dylan Williams led the team in shots on goal with two.
- Anthony Harper, Guillem Vila Ametller and Alexander each played the full 90 minutes.
- A win would mark the second straight year that BU has opened its home schedule with a win.

- UNH averages 12.7 shots per game and 1.67 goals per game. So far this season, the Wildcats have recorded seven yellow cards, six assists, eight saves and 13 corner kicks.
- The Terriers are 25-23-10 in all-time series against the Wildcats.
- A win would mark BU's first time earning two consecutive wins over New Hampshire since the 2003 and 2004 seasons.
- A win would mark the Terriers' first victory over the Wildcats at Nickerson Field since Oct. 26, 2011.
