LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Boston University women's basketball team had its four-game win streak come to an on Saturday in a 73-56 road loss to league-leading Bucknell.

TURNING POINT
- Bucknell broke open a tight game early and never looked back, putting together a 17-1 run spanning the first and second quarters to take a 27-7 lead.
- Senior Sarah Hope opened the second half with the 245th 3-pointer of her career, breaking the program record that was held by Chantell Alford '13.
- The record-setting shot cut the Bucknell lead to nine points but that's as close as the Terriers were able to get the rest of the game.
- The Terriers hung with the Bison for most of the opening quarter but were never able to take a lead.
- BU got within a point at 7-6 before the home team began its 17-1 run.
- Bucknell held an 18-12 advantage in the second quarter to take a 30-18 lead at the break.
- Junior Corrine Williams led all scorers at the break with nine points and finished with a team-best 13 on the day.
- The Bison kept the Terriers from getting back into the contest by putting up 25 points in the third quarter.
- BU outscored Bucknell, 22-18, in the final quarter to create the 73-56 final.
- Bucknell's Claire DeBoer scored 12 of her game-high 19 points after halftime and also led all players in rebounds (9), assists (4) and steals (4).
- Junior Sophie Beaudry had her streak of 10 straight games scoring in double figures come to an end.
- The Terriers finished with 56 rebounds, including 36 on the defensive glass. It was the first time since Dec. 9, 2014, that BU recorded over 50 boards.
- Irving secured a career-high 13 rebounds and nearly had a double-double thanks to nine points.
- The four-game win streak was the Terriers' longest since the 2012-13 season.
- BU did not lose any ground in the race for fourth place as American also lost on Saturday. The Terriers and Eagles remained tied for fourth, three games ahead of sixth-place Colgate with three games to play.
- BU will host Army West Point on Wednesday (Feb. 22) at 7 p.m. in the first meeting of the year between the two schools.
