The Boston University women's ice hockey team will trek across Boston to face off against crosstown rival Northeastern on Tuesday night at Matthews Arena. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m.

  • Tuesday will be the 55th meeting between the crosstown rivals.
  • The Terriers are 31-18-5 all-time against the Huskies, including an 11-8-2 at Matthews Arena.

  • The Huskies most recently split a weekend series with No. 2 Boston College, including a 4-2 road win on Friday.
  • Senior McKenna Brand leads the team in goals (13), assists (12) and points (25).
  • Junior Brittany Bugalski has started 17 of the 18 games in which she has appeared, posting a 2.75 goals-against average and a .900 save percentage.
  • Freshman Aerin Frankel has recorded a .938 save percentage and a 1.99 goals-against average in 10 games played, seven of which she has started.

THE BACH AND LESLIE FACTOR

  • This past weekend marked the return of seniors Victoria Bach and Rebecca Leslie after they missed the previous four games while at the 2018 Nations Cup with Canada.
  • BU averaged just 1.25 goals per game during Bach and Leslie's four-game absence.
  • Contrast that with a mark of 3.55 goals per game in the 20 contests in which the dynamic duo has skated on the same line.
  • Bach tallied a goal and an assist in each game against Providence, with Leslie securing two points (1g, 1a) on Saturday against the Friars.
