Anderson Shines Against American, Army, George Mason

FAIRFAX, Va. - Three individual first-place finishes by Grace Anderson highlighted the Boston University women's swimming and diving team in a multi-team meet against American, Army West Point and George Mason Saturday afternoon at Jim McKay Natatorium.
Anderson took home the top spot in three individual events for the second time this season, winning the 1000 free, 200 free and 500 free and was a part of the winning 400 free relay squad. In nine of 10 meets this season, Anderson has won at least two events.
Julimar Avila and Erin Nabney topped the podium, as Avila won the 50 free and Nabney touched the wall first in the 200 IM.
The 400 free relay team of Sydney Lee, Meghan Egan, Anderson and Avila closed out the meet with a first-place finish.
The Terriers handled American (213-82), but suffered losses to Army West Point (170-130) and George Mason (159-141).
BU will remain on the road as it heads to Boston College on Saturday, Jan. 27.
