BOSTON - Primed for its last week of the regular season at Nickerson Field, the Boston University women's soccer team will open the week of action as it hosts Army West Point on Wednesday, Oct. 17 for a 7 p.m. start.

Wednesday will serve as a Faculty & Staff Appreciation game, which will include a free ticket and a free pre-game dinner reception for BU faculty and staff members. Additionally, the game will be a Deaf Event, where students taking courses with the BU Programs in Deaf Studies will receive free admission.

Terrier Tidbits

BU is tied for first place in the Patriot League standings with Colgate, as each boasts a 5-0-1 mark in conference games.
Colgate and BU are the lone teams in the league that have surrendered just one goal against a league opponent.
The Terriers were aided by two own goals last week, as a miscue by the Crimson in the 89th minute sent last Tuesday's game into overtime, while Loyola knocked in the game-winning goal in the 87th minute on Saturday.
Saturday's victory was BU's six straight win and fifth straight shutout against a Patriot League opponent.
Adelman was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week after volleying in the game-winning goal against Harvard in the 96th minute.
It marked the second straight game a freshman has netted the game-winning goal, as Taylor Kofton struck in the 88th minute to lead BU to a 1-0 shutout against Navy Nov. 5.
BU has had at least one student-athlete earn a Patriot League weekly honor for four straight weeks.
Fellow freshman Morgan Messner posted her third shutout of the season against the Greyhounds and has not allowed a goal in 393 minutes.
Messner ranks third in the league with a .937 goals against average and has not allowed a goal in conference action.
Sophomore Anna Heilferty leads the team in goals (5), assists (4) and points (14).
Heilferty has already surpassed her point total from her PL Rookie of the Year campaign, matching in goals while surpassing assists and points by one apiece.
Head coach Nancy Feldman, the only coach in the program's 24-year history, has posted a 304-150-46 (.654) mark during her tenure at BU and owns a 395-168-55 (.684) career record.
BU has gone unbeaten in 46 straight home conference games, which is the longest active streak in the NCAA.

Scouting Army West Point

Navy scored twice within the last eight minutes last Friday to hand the Black Knights a 2-1 defeat, scoring in the 83rd minute before delivering the game-winning goal with 44 seconds left.
With the loss, its third straight, Army West Point dropped to 6-4-5 overall and 2-3-1 in Patriot League contests.
Erynn Johns leads the team in points (9) and assists (5), though she has not seen the field the last two games.
Army West Point is 5-0-1 when Johns records at least one point.
Morgan Walsh leads the squad in goals (3) and has netted the last two scores for the Black Knights.
Sydney Cassalia has played every minute in between the pipes, recording a .68 goals against average along with an .876 save percentage.
