How It Happened
- BU opened up the game on the attacking end, playing two corner kicks in the 9th minute, though couldn't get a quality shot off.
- The Terriers followed with four shots over the next 15 minutes, continuing its command in its offensive third.
- Anna Heilferty had the best look of the opening half, creating space at the top of the 18-yard box before lining a shot that veered just wide of the right post in the 35th minute.
- The Terriers opened the second half with a trio of shots over the first 10 minutes, led by two from Chelsea Churchill.
- Amanda Fay made a spectacular save in the 57th minute, halting a blast from 10 yards out to keep the game scoreless.
- BU's backline was equally steadfast, clearing four straight Raider corner kicks in a four-minute span.
- Turning the possession back in its favor, Kelly Park sent a ball toward the box from the right wing in the 78th minute.
- While Colgate's keeper left her post, Shannon Keefe lunged for a piece of the ball before Wilcox controlled it and took a touch before sliding it past the keeper.
- BU captured its second outright Patriot League regular season title, and its 13th regular season conference championship in program history.
- Wilcox's score was her first of the season and the fourth in her career.
- Fay posted her third shutout of the net, making four saves, including three in the second half.
- During the first half of each of the last four games, the Terriers have allowed a combined three shots.
- BU will open up its postseason quest on Friday, Nov. 2 as it hosts the lowest remaining seed in the Patriot League Tournament at 4:30 p.m.
