BOSTON - With a four-game road trip on the horizon to close out the non-conference slate, the Boston University women's basketball team will open up the trek Wednesday, Dec. 5 at Dartmouth. Tip-off is from Leede Arena is set for noon.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU improved to 4-0 at Case Gym following an impressive 72-61 victory over Delaware on Sunday.
- With the win, BU closed out its non-conference home slate with a perfect 4-0 record, marking its first unblemished home non-conference games record since the 2011-12 season.
- Payton Hauck recorded her first-career double-double with 11 points and a game-high 11 rebounds.
- Katie Nelson tallied a season-best 19 points to go with seven rebounds and six assists.
- Nia Irving leads the team in scoring (13.7) and rebounding (7.2).
- Lauren Spearman has accounted for 19 of the team's 35 makes from beyond-the-arc, good for 54.2 percent.
- Nelson leads team with 4.2 assists per game, which ranks second in the league.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
- The Big Green return to Hanover after suffering four losses over 11 days on the road to drop its overall record to 2-4.
- Isalys Quinones leads the team in scoring (14.5) and rebounding (7.7).
- Quinones has two 20-point games, two double-doubles and has scored in double figures in five of six games this season.
- Anna Luce ranks second with 10.7 points per game and leads the team in field goal percentage (66.7).
- Cy Lippoid leads Dartmouth with 20 assists, while Annie McKenna follows with 22.
THE SERIES
- Dartmouth has taken the last four matchups to cut BU's lead in the series to 13-8.
- BU is 7-3 all-time in Hanover and will seek its first road win at Leede Arena since 1995.
UP NEXT
- BU will close out its road-trip with three straight games in The Bay State, starting Dec. 12 against UMass.
