
Ramos Tabbed Patriot League Player of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After collecting a pair of singles victories and two doubles wins, Boston University women's tennis junior Remi Ramos has been named the Patriot League Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
The award marks the second ever for the reigning Patriot League Player of the Year after she was recognized back on Jan. 31, 2017. The announcement also comes a week after senior Iryna Kostirko was recognized as the Player of the Week.
A Parkland, Fla., native, Ramos started off with a 6-2, 6-2 win against Utah State in the No. 2 slot and then claimed a 6-1, 6-2 victory at San Diego. She also won two doubles matches at line 1 with freshman Lily Burchell by a combined score of 12-6 against the same two opponents.
After playing three matches in California, BU next returns home to host former America East foe Binghamton on Sunday (March 18) with a 10 a.m. start time.
