Kostirko Earns Patriot League Player of the Week Accolades

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After earning Turnpike Trophy MVP honors with a dominating singles performance against Holy Cross, Boston University women's tennis senior Iryna Kostirko was named the Patriot League Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.
The weekly award marks the first for the three-time All-PL honoree. She posted a 6-0, 6-0 victory in the No. 1 slot against Holy Cross' Allison Reiling to help BU improve to 5-4 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
BU will next face Utah State later today at 12 p.m. PT. in California.
