
Bloznalis, U.S. U-23 WNT Earn First Place at Nordic Tournament

SARPSBORG, Norway – Earning her first caps with the U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team, former Boston University women's soccer team member Rachel Bloznalis aided the U.S. WNT to a 2-0-1 record at the Women's U-23 Nordic Tournament, where it finish in first place at the four-team competition this week.
Bloznalis and the U.S. WNT opened up the tournament against Sweeden, where it earned a 2-0 shutout victory. The U.S. went on to post a 0-0 draw against England before securing the top overall finish with a 1-0 decision over Norway.
Of the 22 professionals on the U.S. roster, 12 play for NWSL teams and 10 play for European clubs, including Bloznalis, who is currently playing with Umeå IK in Sweden.
