BOSTON - Hosting an Ivy League opponent for the second time this season, the Boston University women's basketball team welcomes Dartmouth to Case Gym on Saturday, Dec. 21. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. and will be broadcasted live on the Patriot League Network.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- Maggie Pina was named the Patriot League Rookie of the Week on Monday, marking the second time this season a Terrier has earned the honor.
- Pina led all freshmen scorers against both UMass and Boston College, putting up 12 points against UMass in her first career start, and followed with a nine-point effort versus Boston College.
- Katie Nelson has averaged 15.0 points per game over the last four games and currently leads the team with 12.4 points per game.
- Riley Childs leads the team in rebounding (6.4) while Nia Irving is right behind (6.1).
- Childs has grabbed at least five rebounds in all nine games.
SCOUTING DARTMOUTH
- Dartmouth has won three of its last four to improve to 6-4 overall.
- Annie McKenna is the top scoring option with 12.7 points per game and has netted 16 of her 42 field goals from 3-point range.
- McKenna also leads the Big Green in assists per game (4.6), which is tied for second among Ivy League leaders.
- Anna Luca follows right behind McKenna in scoring (10.4) and ranks second on the team in rebounding (5.9) behind Paula Lenart (8.2).
- Belle Koclanes is in her seventh season at the helm of the program and owns a career 73-104 record.
- Dartmouth has taken the last five matchups to cut BU's lead in the series to 13-9.
- The Terriers are an even 5-5 against the Big Green at Case Gym.
- BU will host Northeastern on Sunday, Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. for its non-conference finale.
