BOSTON - With one week left in the regular season, the Boston University women's basketball team will continue its playoff push as it hosts Lafayette on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at Case Gym. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. and can be seen live NESN as well as the Patriot League Network.
TERRIER TIDBITS
- BU is in third place in the Patriot League standings and is in prime position to host a quarterfinal tournament game for the first time.
- Lehigh also stands at 9-6, though the Terriers hold the tie breaker over the Mountain Hawks.
- Including Navy, the final four of BU's regular season games are against four bottom teams in the standings.
- Payton Hauck has been on fire over the last four games, leading the team in scoring in three of those contests.
- During that stretch, she averaged 16.7 points and 5.0 rebounds per game.
- Hauck has upped her scoring average to 12.2, which now leads the team, and also holds the lead in shooting percentage (44.9).
- Nia Irving is coming off her seventh double-double of the season and leads the team with 8.7 rebounds per game to go with 12.1 points per game.

SCOUTING NAVY
- Lafayette sits at the bottom of the Patriot League standings with a 2-13 conference clip and is 7-19 overall.
- The Leopards are coming off their eighth straight loss, a 67-75 decision against American on Saturday.
- Natalie Kucowski is the dominant force for the Leopards, holding the team leads in scoring (14.0), rebounding (11.3), assists (3.0) and blocks (2.3) averages.
- BU held Kucowski to just four points in the previous matchup, her lowest scoring total of the season.
- Olivia Martino ranks second on the squad with 9.6 points per game, while Drew Feeland comes in third with 9.1 points per contest.
- Freeland is the top 3-point threat, connecting on 34.4 percent of her attempts from beyond-the-arc this season.
THE SERIES
- BU snapped a three-game skid by edging the Leopards 47-44 in the first matchup this season in Easton on Jan. 26.
- Lafayette swept the last season's regular season series, winning both games by one possession, and knocked the Terriers off in the first round of the Patriot League Tournament.
- BU leads the all-time series 13-8, but Lafayette holds the upper hand at 7-5 since BU joined the Patriot League.
