Men's Tennis Falls at Yale, 6-1

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Before embarking on a week-long trip to the state of Florida, the Boston University men's tennis team fell at Yale, 6-1, on Sunday evening.
The Bulldogs (8-4) won the first two doubles matches for the first point and then claimed five singles points, including four in straight sets, against the Terriers (4-9).

- All three doubles matches were closely contested with Yale winning in the top two slots by a combined score of 12-7.
- Sophomores Owen Lu and David Bogatin dropped a 6-4 decision at line 1 before sophomore Ethan Kolsky and freshman Max Stehling had their No. 3 match halted with Yale clinging to a 5-4 advantage.
- Yale added to its point total with straight-set wins at lines 1, 2 and 6.
- Sophomoe Pete Siozios put BU on the scoreboard with a 6-3, 6-3 victory in the No. 3 slot.
- Yale added two more points by winning tiebreakers against sophomore Pedro Gutierrez, 7-6(5), 7-5, and freshman Max Hartenstein, 7-6(5), 5-7, 10-8.
- The Terriers will next visit the Hurricanes on Tuesday (March 12) with action set to begin at 4 p.m.
- BU last faced Miami in 2017 and fell, 7-0.
