
Di Battista Named Patriot League Player of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – After helping lead the Boston University women's tennis team to a 7-0 sweep over Binghamton from the top singles slot, freshman Erica Di Battista has claimed Patriot League Player of the Week honors, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
A native of Montreal, Quebec, Di Battista made a strong impression in the Terriers' dual match opener at the Mount Auburn Club. She first teamed with junior Alex Angyalosy for a 6-2 victory in doubles at line 2 and then cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 victory in singles.
The Terriers will remain at home and next host Bryant on Saturday (Jan. 25) at 3 p.m.
