Terrier Tuesdays: Women's Tennis Alum Kerry Stakem ('96)
December 15, 2020 | Women's Tennis
Boston University women's tennis alum Kerry Stakem (Questrom'96) was the guest in this week's alumni edition of Terrier Tuesdays.
A native of Reading, Massachusetts, she was the first Terrier to earn CoSIDA Academic All-America honors and also the Gretchen Schuyler Award as the top female Boston University scholar-athlete. Highlighted by her 1996 No. 1 singles flight championship, Stakem helped BU claim three America East championships (competed in the 1993 ECAC fall tournament instead).
The former team captain joined Coopers and Lybrand as an intern and then watched the firm merge with Price Waterhouse in 1998. She's remained with PwC since and currently serves as Northeast People Leader. She's also a co-chair of the Talent Development & Retention Leadership Council for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
