Men's and Women's Hockey Weekend Series Canceled

WAKEFIELD, Mass. - The Boston University men's and women's hockey series scheduled for this weekend have been canceled, Hockey East announced on Tuesday.
Both the men and the women had home-and-home series with Northeastern and New Hampshire, respectively, scheduled for Jan. 1 and 2, but the contests were canceled due to Boston University's testing schedule and cadence resulting from the holiday break and the teams' return to campus.
The men will begin their 2020-21 campaign next weekend against Providence, while the women will also play a pair of games next weekend against the Friars.
