ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Concluding a two-match road trip to the Midwest, the Boston University men's tennis team fell at No. 5 Michigan, 7-0, on Sunday evening.
The Wolverines (14-3) won the first two doubles matches and captured six singles points in straight sets against the Terriers (3-7) for their third straight shutout following wins over Penn State and Brown.

- Featuring the No. 2 doubles team in the country in Andrew Fenty and Mattias Siimar, Michigan clinched the doubles point with a combined score of 12-3.
- Junior Ethan Kolsky and freshman Jon-Kyle Tan owned a 5-3 advantage at line 3 when their match was halted.
- Competing in the top singles slot, junior David Bogatin nearly took No. 17 Fenty to a third set but was broken late for a 6-2, 7-5 loss.
- A native of nearby Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, senior Marc Sable tied Bogatin for most games won in a 6-4, 6-3 loss at line 6.
- Junior Pete Siozios won five games in the first set before his opponent pulled away in the No. 4 slot, 7-5, 6-1.
- The Wolverines had another ranked player in No. 112 Siimar, who defeated junior Owen Lu, 6-3, 6-1.
- The Terriers will fly south to Orlando, Florida, for three matches.
- BU will battle James Madison (March 10), Creighton (March 12) and Marquette (March 14).
